Revised Wiring Diagrams for 10 Amp Ultima Power Pack

When linking these two items together, it is important that positive wires be joined to each other and negative wires to each other. If positive is joined to negative, a short circuit and blown fuse will result.

On the ART-5460, Ultima Power Supply, the positive wire is colored red / black, the negative being colored solid black. On the ART-5470, Train Engineer, however, the solid colored wire (red) is positive and the red / black wire is negative.

Therefore, when linking the ART-5460 to the ART-5470, join the red / black wire from the power supply to the solid red wire on the Train Engineer receiver. Then connect the black wire from the power supply to the red / black wire of the Train Engineer receiver.
