 SPLIT JAW RAIL CLAMPS

Track is the place where Aristo-Craft Trains Begins and is the platform for our entire environment of trains.  As most of our trains are run out of doors where the terrain is irregular, it takes a product like Split Jaw to solidify the layout through thick or thin.  The pressure large scale trains put on the track, especially on curves, requires a device to strengthen the system and Split Jaw does just that.  Therefore, we are offering this third party product as an addition to the Aristo-Craft family of products.

SPLIT JAW RAIL CLAMP FOR RAIL AND OVER JOINERS

The Original Split Jaw Clamp attaches directly to the rail and has a very low profile.

Over the Joiner Clamps are used to tighten the joiner that comes with the track.  They can easily be installed without disturbing previously laid track.

DOUBLE SPLIT JAW CLAMP

Double clamps are attached directly to the rail and are used where a section of track needs to be removed and replaced often. Great for switches that may need to be periodically removed for cleaning and maintenance.

POWER SUPPLY & WIRE CONNECTORS

Power Connectors clamp directly to the rail.  They have a low profile and make a solid connection.  Compression terminals for 16-14 gauge wire are included.  Plastic directly under the rail that separates the ties may need to be removed.

Over the Joiner Power Connectors attach to the rail joiner for a solid connection. Compression terminals for 16-14 gauge wire are included.

Use the Copper Lug to connect #14-10 gauge wire to any Split Jaw Rail Clamp.  Includes mounting hardware.

SPLIT JAW EXPANSION CLAMP

Expansion Clamps are used to maintain electrical connection and proper rail alignment while allowing for the expansion and contraction of the rail.  Expansion Clamps attach directly to the rail.  The spring washer, between the head of the screw and the jaw, keeps constant pressure on the rail.

INSULATING SPLIT JAW CLAMP

Insulating Clamps have on long jaw made of plastic and two short jaws made of metal.  The metal jaws enhance the gripping power of the clamp.  The Insulated Clamps make it possible to electrify a siding by simply connecting a jumper wire between the two screws.

TOOLS

These 7/64th Ball Hex Drivers make it easy to install Split Jaw Rail Clamps.  The Ball Hex Drivers have a ball head that lets them work up to a 30-degree angle.
