PROTOTYPE HISTORY
Flat Cars handle most of the over-sized cargo (machinery parts, vehicles, construction materials) which are difficult to load in freight cars, such as Box Cars. Several Stake Flat Cars can even be coupled together to handle cargo if it is longer than the car itself.
